Throne and Liberty Roadmap Update: Key Highlights from NCSoft's Livestream

Content Updates and Features
Skill Customization: Introduction of new skill traits offering five choices, along with a rework of skill progressions to enhance player engagement.
- Challenge Mode: A new mode featuring 30 difficulty levels, unlockable after completing normal mode. Players can participate in two challenge dungeons per week.
- Gear Upgrades: New gear reroll traits, enabling players to modify their equipment traits for better customization.
- New Progression System: Rune and socket system, providing linear progression through random stat boosts mainly obtained from dungeons.
Artifacts: These will be sourced from open-world dungeons and add effects to skills through gemstones and additional stats via fragments.
Lifeskills: Newly introducing fishing, cooking, and an Amitoi related skill.

Talandre Update (August 21 for Korea): This major update will include:
- Increased level cap to 55
- Six new zones and three new open-world dungeons
- Four new world bosses and two archbosses
Five new instance dungeons with key rewards including Tier 2 gears and accessories
Roadmap Highlights:
- July 24: Skill reworks, challenge mode introduction, traits rework, runes, life skills, and a four-week hyper boosting server.

- Weapon Masteries: Upcoming changes to make weapon mastery more engaging, moving away from brain-dead farming.
- PvP Content: Introduction of arenas (3v3 battle point mode) with internal testing next week. Plans for small-scale PvP and inter-server wars with fair play for 48 players.
