During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Pearl Abyss revealed an extensive preview of their upcoming creature-collecting online game, DokeV. The new trailer showcases a variety of gameplay environments, ranging from snow-capped mountains to bustling urban cities.
Central to the action is the player, navigating the world on skateboards and swinging through the air like Spider-man, all set to a lively KPop soundtrack. The game presents a unique aesthetic, combining hyper-realistic backgrounds with cartoonish character models, all rendered with the same exceptional quality that Pearl Abyss is renowned for in their flagship title, Black Desert Online.
The trailer offers glimpses of the creatures, including llama-like Dokebi (the in-game term for the creatures themselves). According to the official channel, these creatures coexist with humans, drawing strength from the dreams they inspire. Pearl Abyss explains that the Dokebi are mythical beings from Korean lore, symbolizing the passions and dreams of the humans who live alongside them.
