In this article, we'll explore what Bandai Namco has in store for Blue Protocol in the coming months, based on their Update Roadmap #2, announced in dev livestream #8. From refinements to the game's seasonal roadmap, new raids, time attack features, to planned updates for the next two months, we have the complete breakdown for you.
Clarification of the Season Timeline
The developers have updated their roadmap to better align with players' expectations. Originally, there was confusion when Season 1 started two weeks after the game's launch. The updated image shows that the start and end of a season can occur in the middle of a month, thus bringing more clarity to the game's timeline.
Raids Schedule
Raid entry is scheduled. Void's Island, the default raid, is always accessible. However, a second, more challenging raid is alternated with each update. The timing for these raids has been specifically detailed for weekdays and weekends, providing players with ample opportunities to take part in the action.
Time Attack/Score Attack
For those interested in solo play, the developers have introduced Time Attack/Score Attack dungeons with leaderboards, divided by class. The game mode and map of these dungeons will be switched every two weeks. Players can look forward to rewards based on their clear time, and there are also ranking rewards, further enhancing the competitive element. Note that titles and crowns are time-limited and will only last until the end of the next Time Attack period.
Next Two Months of Updates
Bandai Namco has also given a sneak peek into the game's future with a detailed schedule for July and August. The lineup includes new dungeons, fields, raids, enemies, and even a new class for August. While images were not many due to their non-final status, players can anticipate new experiences and challenges in the coming months.
